My Eve Online Life

Eve Online is a massive mmorpg universe where you are the pilot of your own ship. You have no set career path you just do what you want when you want. Eve Online is so massive of a universe that it is devided into three security levels for players of all types and you can fly between those areas as you please.  each are is devided into Solar systems with Suns, Planets, Asteroid Belts, Star Gates (travel between solar systems) and stations (where you can dock and be safe with access to facilities like repair, market etc). Ships are fully customizable with all sorts of guns, ammo, armor and the list goes on. Below is a quick run down. Don't worry there is a really easy to follow tutorial system that automatically guides you along as you play.

Security Levels: (If your security status falls below 0 you can not enter high security with out
 CONCORD police hunting you down)

• The safest of these being "high security" which is where players can not attack each other unless their corps are at war or the other player stole from them. for those of you who enjoy a little action and not just mining etc you can still find NPC enemies to fight against in this area at asteroid fields and in missions. This area is safe because it is policed by CONCORD an NPC police force that turn up in their massive ships and kill anyone who shoots at another player.

• Next as you move further out from the center of the Eve universe is "Low Security" and here players can attack each other. You find stronger NPC enemies with larger bounties on them. You can also find some better minerals that you can't find in High security if your a miner (Beware players in this region quite often prey on miners and kill them and steal their minerals etc). Although killing players in this security regionhas no police response and they can travel back to High Security without fear of police chasing them, They will lose some security status. If they fall between 0 security status they can't enter High security without being chased. That doesn't bother most the players in this area however and they will attack you on sight.

• Latslty at the furthest reaches of the Eve Online universe is "Null Security" this is a place for players looking for a real challenge. It is adviced to be in a "Null Sec Corporation" if you are entering here. These corps live in these areas and rarely travel back to High Security unless they want to buy cheaper items on the market. In this area it is a free for all battle for survival. Attack on site applies here and you will have gangs of other players hunting for unsuspecting players to kill and steal their stuff. the MOST money is to be made out here. Massive NPC enemies to battle with huge bounties up to millions on them and rare asteroids caring rare minerals can be found out here. Out here you will get attacked by players waiting for people on some gates. You may not be paying attention to who came into your system and they warp right on top of you and drain your energy so your a sitting duck and kill or randsom you (Give us $10mil and we won't destroy your $100mil ship) of course they still may kill you for fun after that. Null security (Null Sec) is where the most fun is to be had but wait until you have some experience in eve and someone to take you under you wing that has experience in this unforgiving security area.

THE GOAL:

To make money and survive. No matter how you do it. You may like to hide in the warm cuddly blanket that is "High Sec". You may choose to try your luck out in "Low Sec" with a corp to help you or zipping around in a small ship. You might go for the big cash at the highest risk coz you like a thrill.

 My Eve Online Life is basically a blog I'm starting to just talk about my day to day life in Eve Online. Eve is a massive universe that you can pilot your ships through and take many career paths, Some peaceful and others full of excitment and adventure. I love Eve because of the freedom I have to be my own individual player with my own style of how I live the Eve Online life.
